Staff Profiles

Scott Neidlinger, Owner/Trainer 

Scott holds a BS in Business Management from Cazenovia College and has been training horses from a very early age. He grew up riding and training right here at Lingering Hills. In addition to his work here, he had the opportunity to apprentice with some of the top Morgan Trainers in the country. In 2007 he was hired as head trainer at Misty Meadows, a private Morgan Farm in Northern CT. While at Misty Meadows, Scott produced many regional, national and world champions in the Park Harness, Park Saddle, Pleasure Driving, English Pleasure, and Classic Pleasure Divisions. In addition to his training duties, he was fully responsible for the running and managing of the farm including: personnel, maintaining the books as well as all the properties associated with the farm. In his time there he also started a small breeding program. Scott's goal as a trainer is to develop a horse into the best possible show horse for amateur and junior riders and drivers by taking his time and working with every horses individual personalities and talents.

Danielle (Paufve) Neidlinger, Owner/Trainer

Danielle was introduced to riding at a very young age by her grandmother and proved to have a truly natural talent with horses. Danielle's first breed of choice was Arabians but it wasn't long before she fell in love with the Morgans and began training and showing them on a regional and national level. After graduating with a degree in Marketing from Binghamton Danielle was offered a job as the Assistant Trainer at Misty Meadows in 2008. Danielle played a key roll in making Misty Meadows a successful operation including regional, national and world championships in the Park Harness, Park Saddle, English Pleasure, Pleasure Driving, Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure. In 2012 Danielle and Scott were married and welcomed the birth of their first son. They now have 3 beautiful children, Lane, Blake and Ella.

Travis Neidlinger, Trainer

Like Scott, Travis has been training horses from a very early age. He too grew up riding and training right here at Lingering Hills and has had several opportunities to apprentice with some of the best trainers in the country including Mike Goebig and Mike Carpenter. In 2007 when Scott took the Job in CT, Travis stepped up to take on the role of Head Trainer. Travis's quiet demeanor not only vied with well the young stock, but he discovered he had a talent for taking on the horses no one else wanted and turning them around. Not only did he turn these horses around, but turned them into World Champions. Travis is well versed and has seen success with horses under saddle in all seats, as well as driving.
